All of the responses were good, and it has been hard to make a decision. One person shared his credit score is 527; another shared his is below 520; and yet another said her score is around 665.

Fact is, my score had fallen from about 715 to around 670 when I began the process of raising my score. That didn’t seem like a big drop to me, but it greatly affected my interest rates and my ability to negotiate. I can only imagine what kind of vice grip credit card companies can put you in when your score goes below 600.
