Before calling it a week, I thought I’d share with you some posts from my fellow Debt Bloggers Network members, as well as a picture I thought was particularly telling. I’ll start with the picture.
How Scared Should You Be? - This picture shows two magazine covers this week. Speaks volumes about the economy and the condition of the American psyche.
Do It Yourself and Save! - Ever since reading The Ultimate Cheapskate’s Road Map to True Riches by Jeff Yeager, I’ve been persuaded to do more things myself instead of hiring them out. Anna shares a few resources where you can learn how to do almost anything you can imagine. Tip: Make sure you get the right tools for whatever project you tackle!
Snowflaking Basics - FWP talks about snowflaking and how she’s applying the concept to reduce here debts. Although I gravitate toward making large payments instead of small payments, snowflaking is a debt reduction strategy worth considering.
Am I $300 Richer? - LuluGal explains how she recently got a $300 credit limit increase to reduce here utilization rate. This is an important concept if you’re trying to maximize your credit score. Of course, my conclusion is that LuluGal is NOT $300 richer… although she has the potential to become $300 poorer if she’s not careful.
Economic Meltdown Imminent - Flashback: Back in March 2008, I wrote a post predicting the collapse of the U.S. economy in September 2008. And now it’s actually happening. It started on September 15 when the DOW dropped 530 points. The DOW has been in a free-fall ever since.

I agree, that picture speaks volumes. The economy is a scary thing right now.

@Anna & FWP - I especially like the cover of George Washington’s surprised face on the dollar bill. It actually made me laugh.
